Lainey gave John a nice Father's Day gift. She kicked him for the first time! :) We are growing more each day and I'm told she weighs about a pound now. I'm starting to think about registering for things, but boy is that overwhelming! Between all those aisles of stuff at Target to the monstrosity that is Babies 'r' Us, it is a daunting task. If anyone has tips on the must-have's and/or the don't-bother's please let me know!
P.S. I promise to get those ultrasound pictures up soon. We have a new monitor for our desktop, so the scanner is easily accessible again.

I saw the "Bumbo Seat" at Target... I guess it's not recalled. From my experience in baby-sitting and friends' kids, the bumbo seat is really great... that's all I've got.
I just blogged again (what else is new...). I put up some of the pictures from Ben and Sara's wedding. Our friends' daughter was their flower girl, go look at the pictures, she was so cute!
I think you need a good stroller. One that is more a jogger type and sturdy and then I always had a little lightweight one for the quick in and out of the car. You need a carseat, a portable playpen/bed, a great diaper bag, crib, highchair, the little hanging chair that fits on the edge of the table is handy when going to friends houses that don't have highchairs......The list of supplies is endless it seems. Sippy cups, bottles, blankets, clothes, jammies that are soft, etc.
